As the median age increases, the life expectancy increases. That makes it a positive correlation. Most countries in the continent of Africa have the lowest life expectancy. Japan has the highest life expectancy. Most African countries have a lower life expectancy because the countries aren't very stable, and most people who live their don't have most necessities of life (water, food, money etc.) These points listed can are significant reason why their life expectancy is very low compared to other countries like Japan. I think Japan's life expectancy is high because their country is more stable, pretty much the opposite of most countries in Africa. An outlier in this trend is Lesotho. Lesotho is a country in southern Africa. In conclusion this trend is a linear positive correlation.
